You are feeling Sleepy... aren't you?

Sleep! we all need it to survive (even if you say you don't)

Ideally 8 hours right? WRONG! It has been researched and proven we in fact sleep in cycles of 90 minutes and we need approximately 35 cycles per week for ultimate recovery, rest, growth, productivity and more

What kind of type are you.. it's true, you can actual be an AM or PM person.. it's inbuilt into you, sure you can change but it is in your system already, you will naturally have one that you are, do you find yourself waking up before the alarm?

So now I have shocked, we can talk more about sleep.. unless you have "dropped off"

Let's talk constant wake time... if you can, you should find your wake time say 7am and count backwards in cycles to work out your bedtime, keep your constant wake time and I promise you will feel good..even with less sleep! that is our struggle, can we possibly get up every day at 7am, won't my social life affect it on a weekend when i have my "lie in".

Next, have you made sure you have a 3500 spring mattress... No? well good, because what if a 200 spring mattress is the ideal amount of springs? why do we assume that more springs is better? Sure your mattress should be good but did you know the perfect mattress should be one that requires no pillow for you to lay your weary head but years of conditioning have made us sleep with a lovely comfy pillow or maybe even 2!!

Now what about your partner, why have you turned away from them? maybe because when we decide to share a bed we didn't think that as children we had a single bed 3 foot, we now share a double 4.6 foot that's 2.3 feet each, or maybe you got a King so that's 5 foot, 2.5 feet each. That's right you need that bigger bed, it's Super King or nothing and just to add to that... what if you are both right handed.. well now one of you is sleeping on the wrong side, as Humans we always want to sleep on our less dominant side.. it is built into us as our natural defence.

Who knew all this about Sleep? it's enough to keep you up at night.

But don't take it from me, i'm no expert, these are just a few things I have picked up along my way to a near perfect sleep every night.
